At local and group level we rely heavily
on the unsinting efforts of all our committee members. The posts are varied
and involve different skills and expertise. In order to help the individual
officers, Ramblers' Association has formulated post descriptions for all

| The organisation of a programme is a huge time comsuming task carried out by the walk programme secretary, who is likely to use 40 or more different leaders to put on well over 100 walks every year. The pupose of this section is to provide help and advice to walk leaders. |
