March. Moderate hilly walk
6 miles Short
First: Tickenham, Cadbury Camp,
Chummock Wood, Stone-edge-Batch, Tickenham. Given
suitable weather there could be spectacular views from this varied walk,
which includes woodland, river banks, fields and lanes and also a stop
at the historic Cadbury Camp. The walk contains some hilly sections,
steep in parts , but all taken at a very easy pace. Coffee and lunch stops. Mud is always possible!

Church. Please park sensitively and try to car share as much

8 miles 5 hours Alternative walk:-Box Hill A gem of a walk along riverbank and through woodland,
passing manor houses and hamlets in hidden combes.
A couple of ascents- nothing too strenuous. Picnic/pub lunch. Dogs allowed under control. Meet:-10:00
am. Box – Selwyn Hall car park. A4 east from Bath. On reaching traffic lights at Box, keep
left on the A4. In a few yards pass ‘The Bear’ pub then look for a turning
left, Valence Terrace, and a sign to Selwyn Hall. Follow this driveway to the recreation ground

Easy over fairly level ground
11 miles. 6 hours. Hambridge, Thorney - Muchelney. A
nice walk across the Somerset levels. Meet:-10:00

March. Easy to moderate. 5-6 miles. 3 to 4 hours Mid Week Walks:-Winscombe and surrounding hills. An easy pace; please bring a picnic lunch. Dogs allowed under control. Leader:-Pat Sunday 21st March. Moderate
hilly walk 14 miles 6 ˝ hours Newent - May Hill and the Daffodils Commencing from
the lakeside car park we head north meeting the disused canal then join
part of the daffodil trail where, given normal Spring
weather, we should be surrounded by 1000’s of woodland daffodils. Next stop, a steady climb to May Hill where
there are breath taking views of the Severn, Brecon’s and Cotswold’s
to name just a few before returning to Newent. Probable pub stop for
a drink. Dogs allowed under control. Meet:-09:30
