Sunday 1st June.                    Easy                     6 miles

Short First::- Wrington  - Along the River Yeo to Wrington. Fairly steep ascent up into the woods.  Coffee and lunch stop.

Sunday 1st June.    Alternative walk     Moderate/hard   17 miles  7½ hours

Samaritan’s Way 3rd leg – Glastonbury to Bridgwater.  Along the Somerset Levels and over the Polden Hills. No dogs allowed.

Batcombe and Bruton.  Undulating walk through East Mendip farmland and villages.  No dogs allowed.

Wednesday 11th June.      Easy                          5 miles             2 hours

Evening walk:  Uphill.  Across the sands, round the reserve and up to the windmill and Church.  Supper snack at the Ship Inn at the end of the walk.

Sunday 15th June.             Moderate                  12 miles approx.

East Quantoxhead – Kilve- East  Quantoxhead hill.   A long uphill climb at the start but it is worth it for the views – weather permitting.  Picnic stop.

Wednesday 18th  June.          Easy/moderate.     5-6 miles.              3-4 hours

Mid Week Walk:  Winscombe and surrounding hills. An easy pace; please bring a picnic lunch.  Dogs allowed under control.

Special Event:- Joint Woodspring and Weston Walking Group Cream Tea Walk.  Blagdon, Burrington, Blackdown. 

 

One long steady climb; after the walk, there will be the opportunity to enjoy a cream tea in Blagdon Village Club served by Blagdon W.I. (cost TBA).

Water, Dartmoor.  Lovely walk through ancient woodland with climbs to some of Dartmoor’s most scenic Tors. Stop for afternoon tea or a pint. No dogs allowed.

Due to the distance and difficulty in finding the start please inform the Leader and car share as much as possible.

Evening walk:- Rowberrow.  Through Dolebury Warren and Rowberrow Warren then back to The Swan for supper and a pint of Butcombe.  Book your meal before you leave the Pub for the walk.
