Sunday 6th January Easy 6.5 miles 4 hours Short First: Wells,
Dinder, Croscombe, Lyatt, Tor Hill.
A pleasant walk through fields and lanes
with a pretty village, views and an Iron Age Camp.
One climb at an easy pace. Possibility of tea at the end. Dogs allowed under control. Meet: 10:00
Gateway to the Cathedral complex, Bishop’s Palace side. Please note that the car parks in Wells now
charge on a Sunday. Leader: Pat and June.
Sunday 13th
January Moderate 10miles 5 hrs Saltford Shallows. A ramble by the river, through parks
and over hills. Good views of Bath and Bristol weather permitting. Meet: 10.00 a.m. Saltford car park. Take the A368 through
Blagdon to A39 North. Turn left at the roundabout on the A4. When entering Saltford take 1st right
down narrow lane to car park. No
dogs allowed. Explorer 155
