Wednesday 6th August.         Easy    4 miles 2 hours

Evening walk:  Clevedon.  From the Little Harp Pub. A pleasant circular walk round Clevedon.

Sunday 10th August.  Moderate/Hard.          10 ½ miles.      6 hours

Malmsmead, Exmoor.  A walk up the Doone Valley, Badgworthy water, across open moorland to Oareford.  Return via Oare and visit the Church. Afternoon tea at Malmsmead.

Wednesday 13th August.      Easy/Moderate    4-6 miles         2 hours

Sandford evening walks:  A pleasant and friendly walk around the Sandford, Winscombe and Churchill countryside on alternate Wednesday evenings through the summer.  Finish before dark with a refreshing drink and a supper snack at the Railway Inn if you wish.

Cotswolds:  Painswick to Bisley.  A hilly walk with good views across the Cotwolds.  Lunch in a pub garden in Bisley. No dogs allowed

Wednesday 20th August.      Easy                     4 miles             2 hours

Evening walk:  Worle – The Old Manor Inn to Middle Hope.  A walk round North Worle, possibly to Middle Hope, then back to the pub for supper and a drink.  One possible muddy area.  Book your meal before you leave the pub for the walk.

Thornbury, Oldbury-on-Severn, Aust.  Fairly flat.  Mixed farming land and along the River Severn.  Dogs allowed under control.

Berkeley Castle. With views around the castle and then on to Purton across the fields. Views across the flats of Slimbridge.  Return to Berkeley via Sharpness and the canal.

Sunday 31st August              Easy                     7 miles

Alternative walk:  Chapel Allerton, Ashton, Washbrook, Brinscombe Hill, Stone Allerton. An easy walk through fields and lanes. With fine views, however, there are numerous stiles, some awkward characters! No dogs allowed.
