Short First: Bath Skyline.

Meet 10.00am  Cleveland Walk, Bath. Coming in on A36 after North Parade traffic lights (cricket ground on left) next right on to Bathwick Hill -- second on left is Cleveland Walk.  Grid Ref: 761646.  Dogs allowed under control

Walk across the Clifton Suspension bridge, to Dundry and Chew Magna.  Transport is very limited so please let the walk leader know you will be walking.

No dogs allowed.

Saturday 12th April

Social Event: Skittles Night at The Coach House, Locking.  In aid of  the ‘Rambling Rose’ walkers marathon walk.  For details phone Marion on 01934-833605.  Come along and give your full support to the Breast Cancer charity Walkers. Big pockets and something pink are essential.

Sunday 13th April.                           Hard                17 miles       7½ hours

The Swan at Rowberrow to Ring O’ Bells, Compton Martin. This is leg 5 of the Butcombe trail. Out via Dolebury, Blackdown, Charterhouse and Hazel Manor. Return via Ubley, North slope of Mendip and Rowberrow Forest.  Lunch at the Ring O’ Bells.

Meet:  09:30 car park across the road from The Swan, Rowberrow.   Explorer 141. Grid Ref: 450583   Dogs allowed under control.

Wednesday 16th April.           Easy/moderate.             5-6 miles.         3-4 hours

Mid Week Walk: Winscombe and surrounding hills. An easy pace; please bring a picnic lunch.  Dogs allowed under control.
Meet:  11:30 Car park behind the Woodborough Inn, Winscombe.

Sunday 27th April.      Easy and Moderate.     6½ and 14 miles.

Special Event:-Joint Woodspring and Clevedon Ramblers Coach Trip to Minehead

There will be 2 walks. The short starting at Carhampton and walking part of the Macmillan Way to Minehead with 2 steep climbs although avoiding the ridge.  The longer walk is from Williton where we walk the Macmillan Way to Minehead via Withycombe, Dunster and other villages on the way.  A varied walk involving climbs onto the ridge to enjoy the reaching views.  There will be time for those on the shorter walk to visit Minehead and even those on the long walk should have time for a cup of tea before the coach leaves at 5pm.  Arriving at Worle approx 7pm.

Meet:  The coach will pick up at Worle bus stop by Homebase at 08:15 having picked up at Clevedon at 08:00. Coach tickets are £8.50 each.
