Sunday 4th November             Easy     6 ½ miles         

Short First:  Pensford, Stanton Wick and Stanton Drew

An interesting ramble over fields, meadows, river banks and quiet lanes with only one short climb. Lunch at the Carpenters Arms at Stanton Wick.   Dogs allowed under control

Meet: 10:30 in Pensford car park. Travel North up A37 from A368 1st left after the speed camera (30mph). Car park is opposite the Rising Sun Pub.  There is very limited parking space so try to car share as much as possible.

Cheddar and Gorge to Shipham.

A very hilly walk via Cheddar Gorge and the West Mendip Way.   Good views and probably mud.  No dogs allowed.

Mid-week Walk.  Winscombe and surrounding hills.

An easy pace; please bring a picnic lunch.

Second Leg of the ‘Butcombe Trail’

A brisk morning walk from the ‘Queen Victoria’ descending to the ‘Lamb’ for lunch. (mostly West Mendip Way). Steeply up onto the Mendip Plateau in the afternoon to gain Long Wood and Velvet Bottom.  Finishing at Charterhouse centre.  Dogs allowed under control
