steep ascents. Good views (weather
permitting); plenty of mud. Just one coffee stop. Please note the early start. No dogs. Meet:

Gorge, Pen Hill, Biddle Combe, Wells, and Wookey Hole – Up through Ebbor Gorge and along the southern
scarp of the Mendips, past Pen Hill mast, down the Combe into Wells
city; return to Ebbor. Meet: 09:00 in the NT car park for Ebbor Gorge. Grid

Black Horse Pub, Clapton in Gordano.
6 miles in the morning via Weston Big Wood and new Gordano Valley
Nature Reserve. 6 miles in the
afternoon via woods (hopefully Bluebells out) to Tickenham Church and
return via Cadbury Camp. 2 climbs morning and afternoon. Pub lunch or
picnic possible. Dogs allowed under control. Meet 10:00 at Wood lane opposite Black Horse Pub. Grid
